Every day our pastry chef prepares limited batches of house-made cakes, pastries and sweet treats for the cabinet at Marché Café. We put a modern twist on classic favourites using the best real ingredients only – no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives added

It’s hard to pick a customer favourite, the Maple Cinnamon Scrolls are loved by everyone, however when the Cinnamon donuts come out of the fryer freshly dusted in a cinnamon sugar mix they often don’t make it to the display before people are asking for them. What a treat with your morning coffee.

Other regulars include treats such as Chocolate Brownie, Caramel Slice, Lamington and specialty cake. All are made from scratch using the best real ingredients only – no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives added.

Loaded Scroll Wednesdays

Every Wednesday our pastry chef loads the scrolls — a different one each week, built on the maple cinnamon scroll everyone already knows. We post the week's variety on Instagram on Wednesday morning, follow us @marche_cafe so you'll know what's coming before you get here.

Whole Cakes to Order

Whole cakes are made to order from our cake menu — for birthdays, office morning teas, or because it's Tuesday. We need 48 hours' notice. Order online, or call us on (03) 9819 9383 if you'd like to talk it through.

  • Pistachio, burnt honey, cardamom, rose and raspberry — $85

  • Double layer blueberry and sour cream, vanilla mascarpone frosting — $100

  • Sour cream cheesecake with dulce de leche and oat crumble — $85

  • Carrot and walnut with vanilla cream cheese frosting — $75

  • Lemon drizzle, almond-meal cake with a lemon icing — $75

  • Red velvet with vanilla buttercream — $100

  • Chiffon — chocolate, orange or lemon — from $75

All cakes are made with a standard 22cm base and serve 8-10 generously.

Gluten free: the chocolate basque cheesecake ($85) and the flourless chocolate, raspberry and buttermilk cake ($75).

Sweets for meetings and events

The cabinet regulars also travel. Brownies, caramel slice, lamingtons, cinnamon scrolls, muffins and mini pastries are all available on the catering menu as platters and sweet boxes, with 48 hours' notice.
